South Padre Island has alot of bars, clubs, and nightlife spots for being such a small city. Commonly known for its spring break craziness and summertime festivities, South Padre is a one-stop shop for beach activities and late-night partying. Choose from a number of nightlife establishments from hole-in-the-wall bars to mega complex clubs here in SPI for drinking, dancing, and good times out on the town with friends. Louie's Backyard is the most popular night club. Open late and year-round, Louie's attracts huge parties & concerts!
Kelly's Irish Pub is a shop favorite! Great beers on tap and only one-block walking distance away from Air Padre.
Isla Grande has a classy bar called the Quarterdeck inside. Nice atmosphere, live music, and reasonable prices.
Big Boy's is a burger & wings sports bar for pool sharks, video games, big screen TVs, and beer by the pitcher.
Coral Reef is a popular local dive bar at the north end of town where you can sing Karaoke 365 night of the year!
Sea Ranch has a very nice bar area attached to the restaurant. Not open late, but a classy place to start drinking.
Padre Island Brew Co. makes their own beer and it is good! Try the sampler plate to taste the whole line up.
Parrot Eyes is frequently visited by Air Padre staff due to its close proximity. Good selection of beers on tap.
Gabriella's has a restaurant bar with great wine and beer available. Best place for appetizers and drinks.
Laguna Bob's is located in the entertainment district on the Laguna Madre waterfront. Great for sunset and evening drinks.
Tequila Frog's is a spring break hotspot. Bikini contests, dance, and more. But not too busy outside of summer and March.
Wanna Wanna is a great beach bar to have Piña Coladas at all day. Closes early in the evening, but great daytime bar and grille.
Clayton's Beach Bar is similar to Wanna Wanna. Great daytime drinks and grille, but closes before late night.
Club Chaos is THE club for Spring Break. Big name concerts, foam parties, and college kids. Dead for the other 49 weeks/ year.
Tequila Sunset is a nice evening and afternoon bar on the bay. Great sunset and tasty beverages.
Coconuts is located south of Louie's. Late night bar parties occur here often in the summer months.
Big Donkey is the place to go if you are looking for a Margarita! Great Tex-Mex food to go along as well.
