Luxury Accommodations

We recommend The Beach Resort as the best value on the island. Pictured left is the incredible view from your living room. The Beach Resort is a luxury complex ON THE BEACH with elevators, oversized balconies and a SUPER VIEW. The resort grounds feature two swimming pools (one heated) and a hot tub. Three barbeque grill areas and picnic tables are located poolside with a view of the Gulf. The spacious condos are within easy walking distance to a grocery store, shops, clubs and restaurants.

Luxury Accommodations

All individual units have direct dial telephones, microwaves, dishwashers, washers and dryers, and color television with cable including HBO, and VCRs. Each unit is nicely furnished with linens, light cooking utensils and dinnerware.

Deluxe Accommodations

Here is a 2 bedroom 2 bath condo, 1/2 block from the beach. It is fully furnished, including dishwasher, washer/dyer, microwave, stove, the works. It has a tropical gardens theme with many live plants inside as well as a landscaped patio, overlooking the hot tub area.

Basic Accommodation

For an economical alternative we recommend the Beachside Inn, with week night rates of $59.95 and weekend rates of $159 (per night) its the best price on the island. One of the islands newest motels with a landscaped pool, clean rooms, and only one block from the beach, the off season prices of $30-40 per night are an incredible deal. These prices are for the season, off season or winter rates are less.

South Padre Island also has chain, budget motels with the lowest rates on the island.

Primative Accommodations

Camping on the county beaches is free. Bring your tent or rent one of ours, then all you do is buy a daily or weekly country park permit. Cost is about $3 per day, and the permit gets you onto the south flats where (near where the lessons start), beach access 5 and 6, and the jettys at Isla Blanca Park.
