Lodging and accommodations are relatively easy to find on the tourist driven island of South Padre. There can be an almost overwhelming selection of hotels, motels, condos and other properties to stay at. We have done our research and collected our top choices for hotels (listed below) and condo rentals (listed further below) that we recommend to visitors of Air Padre and the island in general. We have had direct experience with dealing with all of these companies, and hope to pass along our local knowledge to our readers. WindWater Hotel is located directly next to the Air Padre shop. If you are taking lessons with us and want cheap and easy, then this is the choice.
Hilton Garden Inn is at the north end of the island, directly across the street from the South Flats. Situated right on the beach, close to kiteboarding for an increased rate.
La Quinta Hotel is right next to Hilton Garden Inn and is slightly less expensive. Although, the pool and other ammenities are not as nice, but great location.
La Copa Inn is right on the beac on the south side of the island. Closer to the entertainment district and perfect for downwinders on the beach side.
The Pearl Resort is the most luxurious beachfront resorts on SPI. Amazing views and the swim-up-bar make for a great vacation, but come with a price.
Wanna Wanna is the closest beachside hotel to Air Padre. It has a great tiki bar and comfy atmosphere. Perfect for beginning and ends of downwinders.
Isla Grande is a very comfortable and vacation-like hotel on the south end of the beach. It has its own restaurant and nightlife bar right inside.
KOA Kampground a is reasonably priced and located right at the beach near the jetties. Fantastic accommodation for the great outdoors feel right.
Sunchase Suites has the best architecture and high-end accomodations of the whole island. We have seen some of the penthouse rooms and they have awesome views!
Holiday Inn is not located on the bay or the beach, but has a reliable look and feel of any Holiday Inn. Reasonably priced and located at the quiter north end of the city.
Parklane Condo Rentals is a prime family oriented condominium complex at the north end of town. Walking distance to the beach and has an awesome pool.
Rent on Padre prides themselves on offering quality properties full of tropical charm. Beachfront as well as interior condos are readily available.
Furcron Realty is one of the larger condo rental agencies on the island, and will be sure to find you a unit that fits your needs and likes.
Latitude 26 is a vacation rental property management business. They offer a new diverse range of rental units independently owned throughout the island.
