The kite buggy lesson is a 1.5 hour lesson dedicated to getting you riding on a kite buggy, while using a trainer kite to power you across the flats.
The lesson is $99, and has proven itself to be a great way for anyone to get into the sport of kiteboarding.
A great introduction into the sport for young kids, non-swimmers, and those who are interested in land power kiting.
The kite buggy is a sport all in its own, and has gained huge popularity in parts of the United States, as well as a massive following in Europe.
The kite-buggy lesson will make you a competent kiter, in addition, teaching you how to control and steer the buggy at the same time.
Once you have gained the kite skills and the capability of controlling the kite and buggy in unison, then you are now on your way to becoming an independent and safe kiter.
The kite buggy is a great introduction to kitesurfing in the Laguna Madre Bay. The skills you gain from the kite buggy lesson, transfer well to the sport of kiteboarding.

All kite gear is provided by Air Padre Kiteboarding. We use Peter Lynn Tri-wheel power kite buggies. In order to propel the buggies across the sand flats, 2 and 3 meter trainer kites are used. Appropriate safeties and safety gear are also included in the lesson. Including, but not limited to helmets, safety kite leashes, and others.
